Are you an experienced Service Engineer with a passion for maintaining and servicing advanced security systems? We are a leading supplier of security solutions to residential and SME clients across London and the South East, recently recognized at the 2024 Security & Fire Excellence Awards for our Spy Academy Training Initiative. We are looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join our team, providing top-quality servicing and maintenance of intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in a flexible, fast-paced environment and enjoys working across a variety of sites, including residential properties, schools, and small to medium commercial businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and commission intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Respond efficiently to multiple service calls per day, providing high-quality solutions to customers.
- Ensure compliance with all current industry standards, including EN50131, PD6662, DD243, BS4737, and BS8243.
- Maintain emergency lighting and dual com monitoring systems.
- Work safely at height and handle physically demanding tasks as required.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience as a Service Engineer in intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV systems.
- Knowledge of both IP & analogue CCTV, including basic networking skills.
- Familiarity with conventional and wireless intruder alarm systems.
- Working knowledge of major security panel brands and app-based systems.
- Understanding of NSI codes of practice and current industry standards.
About You:
- Strong communication, time-management, and self-motivation skills.
- Flexible and able to cover West London and RH/GU postcodes or East London and Essex, with willingness to cover other London areas.
- Full manual UK driving license is essential.

- NSSA Security Screening is required.
