The Kings School, Canterbury, one of the UKβs oldest and most prestigious educational institutions, is seeking an inspirational and dynamic Head of Spanish to lead our thriving and successful department. We are looking for a passionate and forward-thinking educator who can champion excellence in teaching and learning across Years 9-13.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced teacher with a strong track record of outstanding examination results, along with the energy, creativity and ambition to drive innovation within the department. A genuine enthusiasm for Spanish language and culture is essential, and the ability to offer French to at least GCSE level is highly desirable.
As Head of Spanish, you will lead and support a talented team, contribute to curriculum development, promote enrichment opportunities, and play a full role in the wider pastoral and co-curricular life of this vibrant boarding and day school. You will also work closely with the Head of Modern Languages to help shape the strategic direction of the department.
