Operations Executive - Pricing & Valuation (16562) Glasgow, Scotland
Job Description
Our client, a financial services firm in Glasgow, is looking to appoint an Operations Executive - Pricing & Valuation to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with an interest in fund operations and valuations to join a team responsible for accurate and timely fund pricing activities.
- An IOC qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Experience or understanding of portfolio administration for clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills,
- Good computer literacy and confidence using relevant systems and tools.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quickly assimilate and interpret information.
- Experience handling complex queries and finding suitable resolutions for all parties.
- An understanding of client service delivery and a commitment to putting the client first.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and support colleagues when required.
- An understanding of Capital Gains Tax (CGT) principles, investment products, valuation processes, performance impacts on valuations and client tax packs would be advantageous.
Core Responsibilities
- Complete daily and non-daily operational tasks to a high standard, escalating any issues or anomalies within agreed timescales.
- Support the delivery of key performance indicators across the business area.
- Review and improve processes to enhance operational efficiency and client experience.
- Respond to client enquiries professionally and within agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate records of written enquiries and responses.
- Provide support and cover across team activities as required.
- Ensure adherence to internal compliance procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Attend relevant training sessions to support ongoing professional development.
- Contribute to team procedures, management information reporting and internal meetings.
- Assist with the training and development of new team members.
- Support change initiatives and adapt positively to evolving business requirements.
