Core-Asset Consulting, a leading financial sector recruitment company based in Edinburgh, is looking for an Associate Consultant to join its rapidly expanding team. Role Context

This role requires ambition, business acumen, and a competitive edge to deliver a service that results in great appointments within the Asset Management. The Asset Management division covers permanent recruitment, and are both varied and highly specialised. In this role you will be learning how to advise across a wide range of diverse specialisms. Scotland has a large and talented set of professionals within these sectors, and Core-Asset Consulting partners many of the country’s leading businesses in attracting the top performers in their fields. Our service led approach, combined with a structured programme of training and development provides the opportunity to become a true expert.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building an understanding of your core markets (through on the job training and meeting clients, candidates)
  • Source candidates of interest through our candidate database, headhunting and referrals; learn about their technical skills and motivations to understand what career options are suitable
  • Meet candidates prior to interview request with your clients ensuring they are fully briefed on the role they are being interviewed for and offering guidance on interview technique
  • Effective handling of candidate enquiries, whether relating to a specific position or general consultancy regarding career management and the job market trends.
  • Work very closely with the team in generating referrals or matching candidates to vacancies
  • CV formatting and compilation of advertisements as required
  • Account manage your clients keeping in regular contact with them, ensuring that you are always aware of their recruitment needs and any changes in their business e.g. plans for expansion
  • Maintain a professional, polite and courteous service to clients and candidates at all times, ensuring that they are always made to feel they are receiving a bespoke service.
  • Keep abreast of and share new knowledge relevant to our core business

Qualifications / Experience

Degree qualification with some practical work experience required.

Salary for the position above is negotiable depending on experience however will be kept in-line with our current salary banding. Benefits include:
