Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking an experienced PMO Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be overseeing governance frameworks and project delivery.
Skills/Experience
- Experience in a PMO management role, overseeing governance frameworks and project delivery
- Experience in a regulated financial services environment
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Proven capability in portfolio management, resource planning and budget control
- Proficiency with PMO or project management tools and the Microsoft Office suite
- Project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Prince2 or Scrum
- Strong problem‑solving skills
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the firm’s change framework, methodologies and tools.
- Ensure consistent adherence to project governance and quality assurance processes.
- Oversee portfolio planning, resource management and reporting to support informed decision‑making.
- Monitor project performance through KPIs and ensure timely, on‑budget delivery of agreed outcomes.
- Prepare and present executive‑level reporting and dashboards on project portfolio health.
- Act as an escalation point and provide guidance on project risks, issues and dependencies.
