The successful candidate will lead the consolidation and transformation of business units into a single, unified function, working closely with the Executive Committee to shape strategy, drive commercial performance, and support the organisation's continued growth, including through acquisition. Essential Skills/Experience
  • Significant senior leadership experience gained in pensions, investment management, investment solutions, professional services, or data-led consultancy environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading change, integrating business lines, or transforming operating models.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of owning budgets, driving revenue growth, and supporting sales and client delivery.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and business unit heads.
  • Comfort engaging with data and technology-driven products and platforms.
  • Strong people leadership with a track record of building engaged, high-performing teams.
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Investments, Business, or a related discipline; professional investment qualifications (e.g. CFA) desirable but not required.
Core Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end consolidation of business units into one cohesive function, defining a compelling strategic vision and operating model.
  • Take full commercial accountability across the division, including revenue growth, profitability, cost efficiency, and product performance; own forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting to the Board.
  • Oversee the enhancement and optimisation of the group's data and reporting platform, ensuring its outputs drive better client and internal decision-making.
  • Champion the development of integrated propositions that combine consultancy insight, professional services delivery, and data-led capabilities.
  • Build, lead, and motivate high-performing teams, conducting regular performance, development, and succession reviews across the newly consolidated division.
  • Lead change management efforts during integration and growth, ensuring clarity of purpose, employee engagement, and stakeholder buy-in.
  • Support M&A activity by providing insight on investment, platform, and product implications, and contribute to integration planning and execution.
Benefits
  • A highly competitive salary, with bonus potential and equity potential.
  • A wider benefits package including private medical insurance, group life assurance, pension contribution, and hybrid working.
