Head of Operations Oversight & Control

Job Description:

Our client, a reputable investment management firm, is seeking a Head of Operations Oversight for a 9-12 month fixed-term position. This role can be based in London or Edinburgh.

Essential Skills/Experience:

1. Demonstrable knowledge of middle office, back office, and transfer agency activities in Asset Management.
2. Understanding of regulatory requirements related to outsourcing services.
3. Knowledge of the regulatory environment concerning asset management and associated middle and back-office activities.
4. Technical knowledge of CASS rules and regulations.
5. Strong people management skills.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Oversee core outsourced activities and team responsibilities.
2. Lead daily management and people leadership within the team.
3. Ensure NAV oversight with daily process and control execution.
4. Manage corporate actions, cash and stock/cash reconciliations.
5. Oversee retail and segregated mandate flow and reporting.
6. Maintain CASS oversight and control effectiveness.
7. Handle regulatory reporting related to team activities.
8. Manage trade lifecycle processes across various asset classes.
9. Coordinate change management with outsourcing providers.
10. Oversee transfer agency activities.
