Core-Asset Consulting is supporting a leading asset management firm in the appointment of a Corporate Actions Associate on an initial 12-month contract in Edinburgh.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working within corporate actions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data clearly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client- and service-focused mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Capture, validate and process all corporate action events, including income events, across global markets and asset types.
  • Liaise with portfolio management teams to obtain and action required elections.
  • Issue corporate action instructions to custodians and counterparties and ensure timely acknowledgements.
  • Perform daily reviews and reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Monitor processing volumes and manage workflows in line with event deadlines and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate entitlement and restriction status through interaction with custodians and internal systems.
  • Respond to and manage queries from internal teams and external parties.
