Core-Asset Consulting is working with a leading financial services organisation to recruit a number of Customer Service Advisers.

There are opportunities across two areas of the operation: administration and telephony.

Both roles are focused on delivering a high standard of service and positive customer outcomes within a fast-paced operational environment.

These are contract roles running until the end of May 2027 and based in the Gyle area of Edinburgh.

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience in a customer service, administrative or operational environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to process information accurately.

Desirable Skills

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks.
  • Previous experience within financial services, particularly platforms, pensions or investments would be beneficial.
  • Good problem-solving skills and confidence investigating issues through to resolution.
  • A positive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Good digital literacy and confidence using a variety of systems and applications.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent outcomes.

  • Core Responsibilities
  • Process customer and adviser requests accurately and within agreed service levels.
  • Investigate and resolve customer and adviser queries, liaising with internal teams and stakeholders where required.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update information in line with business procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a first point of contact for advisers and customers through telephony and digital support channels (telephony role).
  • Support outbound customer contact and complete customer requests (telephony role).
  • Handle inbound customer and adviser queries once fully trained (telephony role).
  • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently.
