Core-Asset Consulting is supporting a leading asset management firm in the appointment of a Corporate Actions Associate on an initial 12-month contract in Edinburgh.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working within corporate actions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client- and service-focused mindset.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Responsibilities
- Capture, validate and process all corporate action events, including income events, across global markets and asset types.
- Liaise with portfolio management teams to obtain and action required elections.
- Issue corporate action instructions to custodians and counterparties and ensure timely acknowledgements.
- Perform daily reviews and reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor processing volumes and manage workflows in line with event deadlines and procedures.
- Maintain accurate entitlement and restriction status through interaction with custodians and internal systems.
- Respond to and manage queries from internal teams and external parties.
