Core3 is delighted to be working with an established not-for-profit organisation in Bristol to recruit a Senior Management Accountant.
This is a varied role for someone who wants more than just producing the monthly numbers. You'll have the chance to influence how finance supports the wider organisation, improve the quality of reporting and help strengthen the way financial information is used. You'll also have scope to develop your leadership experience, support colleagues across the finance team and play a part in improving systems, processes and controls.
How you'll make an impact:
- Work with stakeholders across the organisation to improve financial understanding
- Deliver clear management reporting and explain the story behind the numbers
- Support budgeting and forecasting activity across the organisation
- Take ownership of key areas of the month-end process
- Review financial performance and highlight risks, trends and areas for action
- Strengthen financial controls and improve the quality of accounting information
- Support year-end preparation and external audit requirements
- Identify opportunities to simplify reporting and improve finance processes
- Contribute to systems improvements and better use of financial data
- Support and develop colleagues within the finance team
Why you're a great fit:
- Qualified or finalist accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Strong background in management accounting and financial reporting
- Confident preparing and interpreting management information
