How you will make an impact:- This is a true job-share role - not simply a part-time handover. You will work closely with your job-share partner to own the full Finance Manager remit and ensure seamless continuity across your working days.
- Lead on month-end reporting including journals, reconciliations, and prepayments.
- Prepare and analyse management accounts with clear commentary for senior leadership.
- Support internal controls, systems improvements and transformation activity.
- Communicate closely with your job-share partner to ensure alignment and continuity.
- Act as a point of contact for finance-related queries, partnering with operations and head office finance.
- Confidently lead and develop others, able to oversee team deliverables, support junior staff, and foster a collaborative, accountable working environment.
- You are experienced, self-sufficient, and value quality communication.
- You understand what makes a successful job share and bring maturity, accountability, and a collaborative mindset.
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or equivalent.
- Experienced in management accounting and month-end processes.
- Organised, dependable, and confident owning your time and outputs.
- Strong communicator with a proactive approach to handovers and joint working.
- Able to work from the South Gloucestershire office, 2.5 days per week.
- Proven ability to lead and develop team members, ideally with experience in managing a small finance team or mentoring junior staff through complex reporting and month-end responsibilities.
- £55,000 - £60,000 full-time equivalent salary.
