Financial Accountant
Core3 is working with a growing organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant, based in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant or first mover from practice looking to step into a commercially focused industry role within a collaborative and forward-thinking finance team.
This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, controls, month-end accounting, and finance improvement activity, making it an ideal move for someone looking to build a long-term career within industry finance.

How you'll make an impact
- Support month-end reporting and management accounts preparation
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations across multiple areas
- Post month-end journals and support core accounting activities
- Assist with statutory reporting and year-end processes
- Support internal and external audit activity
- Help resolve accounting queries and reporting issues
- Assist with VAT returns and regulatory reporting submissions
- Support ad-hoc reporting and finance analysis requests
- Contribute to finance process improvement and standardisation initiatives
- Help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across the business
Why you're a great fitEssential
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience working within an accounting or audit environment
- Strong Excel and analytical capability
Desirable
- Recently qualified or moving from practice into industry
- Exposure to month-end accounting or financial reporting processes
- Experience working with large data sets or finance systems
- Interest in process improvement, controls, or reporting enhancement
