Are you an experienced Credit Control Supervisor looking for a role where you can lead people, improve processes and make a real commercial impact? Our client is a well-established professional services organisation with a collaborative culture that values trust, accountability and continuous improvement. Based in Bristol, you'll join a supportive finance team where your expertise will help strengthen working capital performance while developing those around you.
As Credit Control Supervisor you'll play a key role in helping the business manage cash flow, strengthen client relationships and deliver an excellent billing experience:
- Lead the management of debt, WIP and cash collection across a complex client portfolio.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to improve working capital performance.
- Oversee accurate and timely billing, ensuring invoices are right first time.
- Support month-end financial controls and provide working capital reporting.
- Review complex billing matters, including charge rates and e-billing requirements.
- Coach and develop Revenue Controllers and Billing Assistants through day-to-day leadership.
- Monitor workloads, service levels and team performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and strengthen financial controls.
- Support the implementation of new systems and process improvements.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues and clients to resolve billing queries effectively.
Essential:
- Experience in revenue control, credit control and cash collection within a professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of billing, WIP management and working capital.
- Experience managing complex client portfolios and senior stakeholder relationships.
- Previous line management or mentoring experience.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence at all levels.
Desirable:
- Experience within a legal or partnership environment.
- Chartered Institute of Credit Management qualification.
