This is a part-time position offering flexibility across 3-4 days per week, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance leader looking to balance strategic impact with flexibility. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you'll play a key role in shaping the organisation's future while ensuring strong financial stewardship and governance.

How you'll make an impact
- Lead the organisation's financial strategy and planning activities
- Provide financial leadership and advice to the Chief Executive Officer, Board, and leadership team
- Deliver annual budgets, forecasts, cash flow reporting, and financial plans
- Oversee management accounts, variance analysis, and performance reporting
- Manage statutory accounts, audit processes, and regulatory compliance
- Ensure robust financial controls, policies, and risk management frameworks
- Act as Company Secretary and support effective governance across the organisation
- Lead and develop the Finance and People Support functions
- Oversee relationships with auditors, bankers, insurers, and external suppliers
- Support business planning, funding opportunities, and organisational sustainability
- Work with colleagues to improve systems, reporting, and operational efficiency
- Provide financial modelling and analysis to support strategic decision-making
Why you're a great fit
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Experience operating in a senior finance leadership role
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management
- Experience managing statutory accounts, audits, and compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and internal controls
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at Board and executive level
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial audiences

What you'll get in return
- £60,000-£65,000 full-time equivalent salary
