As Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a key part in maintaining reporting quality and financial control during a period of change, working closely with senior finance stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with senior finance stakeholders to maintain consistent reporting standards and best practice
- Take ownership of financial statement quality, with particular focus on balance sheet governance and reconciliation discipline
- Oversee Record to Report activities delivered through shared service and offshore teams
- Drive improvements to reporting processes, financial controls and automation
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex accounting matters and reporting judgements
- Review and approve material journals and technically complex accounting entries
- Support internal and external audit activity, including responses to IFRS related technical queries
- Deliver accurate and timely month end and period end close through robust financial control
About you
You will be a qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, with experience operating in complex or centralised finance environments.
Essential
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge, including IFRS
- Experience leading teams within a financial reporting or controllership function
- Hands on involvement in month end close and financial reporting
- Confidence working with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP or Workday
- Clear and professional communication with senior stakeholders
Desirable
- Exposure to shared service or outsourced accounting models
- Experience supporting finance change or process improvement initiatives
