Core3 are recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join our client on a 9 month fixed term contract basis in the North West of Bristol.

They are focused on strengthening processes, improving consistency and building a finance function that adds real commercial value. You will join during a period of positive change, with the opportunity to shape reporting and support better decision-making. As Financial Accountant in Bristol, you will work in a hybrid pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
How you will make an impact
- Deliver an accurate and timely month-end close in line with reporting deadlines
- Prepare and review journals, ensuring compliance with internal controls
- Produce robust balance sheet reconciliations and resolve issues promptly
- Manage intercompany accounting and investigate reconciling differences
- Oversee fixed assets accounting and maintain the integrity of the asset register
- Support cash management and complete bank reconciliations
- Review transaction processing outputs and provide clear feedback
- Contribute to continuous improvement across financial control processes
- Respond to auditor and stakeholder queries with clarity and professionalism
Why you are a great fit
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Strong experience in financial accounting within a complex business
- Proven delivery of month-end close, management accounts support and balance sheet control
- Confident using financial systems and advanced Excel
