As Finance Manager, you'll oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts and coordinate P&Ls across your business area, ensuring results are accurate, well understood, and delivered to a high standard. You'll lead a small team, working closely with finance and operational stakeholders to support business needs and improve how reporting is delivered.

How you'll make an impact

  • Take ownership of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Lead the month-end close process across your business area
  • Oversee balance sheet integrity, including detailed review and reconciliation
  • Coordinate P&L reporting and ensure results are clearly understood by stakeholders
  • Develop and support a team of accountants, building capability and confidence
  • Improve processes to drive efficiency and consistency across reporting
  • Work closely with stakeholders to resolve queries and improve understanding
  • Support internal controls and audit activity, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Analyse financial information and resolve complex queries with sound judgement

Why you're a great fit

Essential

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Strong experience in management accounts and financial accounting
  • Background in a senior reporting role or Finance Manager position
  • Experience working with complex systems such as SAP
  • Line management or team leadership experience

Desirable

  • Experience working in a structured, process-driven environment
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

You’ll be organised, detail-focused, and comfortable managing priorities. You work well independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering accurate results and improving processes.
