How you’ll make an impact

We are seeking an accountant who will work alongside the current finance lead and accounts assistant to support the company’s financial management. The role is highly flexible, and responsibilities will be shaped based on the successful candidate’s experience and preferences. The main focus of the role will include:

  • Managing and reviewing budgets, forecasts, and variances.

  • Assisting with year-end accounts preparation and liaising with auditors.
  • Overseeing general financial administration and compliance tasks.

Why we are excited about you

You are a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working autonomously in a small team. You have experience in financial management, ideally within the property sector, and are comfortable adapting to a stable, slow-paced environment. Key qualifications and skills include:

  • Strong financial management experience, including management accounts and reporting.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to manage reconciliations and budgets.
  • A self-starter with excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • A relevant accounting qualification (AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.

What you’ll get in return

This role offers a unique opportunity to work for a well-established company in a flexible, part-time capacity. Benefits include:

  • Competitive Salary, depending on experience and hours worked (3-4 days per week).
  • 23 days’ holiday (pro rata) plus six additional pro-rated office closure days (5 at Christmas, 1 at Easter) and statutory bank holidays.
  • A supportive and friendly team environment.
  • Opportunities for flexibility and role development based on personal preferences and company needs.
