Commercial Vehicle Diagnostic & Repair Technician

Cordwallis Group, part of the VAG Group for over 40 years, is looking for a skilled and flexible Commercial Vehicle Diagnostic & Repair Technician to join our Heathrow location.

Working as part of the Heathrow Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Team, you will be responsible for completing repair works and diagnostic appointments on customer vehicles, routine maintenance, servicing and mechanical repairs.

Tasks include Turbo, Gearbox, Engine & Fuel System replacements and more.

We welcome applications from technicians with a diagnostic qualification from any manufacturer.

A training needs assessment will be completed during probation to determine the level of training required to cross over to the Volkswagen CV standard.

Compensation

  • OTE – up to £49,000+ per annum (uncapped)
  • OTE includes approx 4 hours of overtime worked per week plus the Saturday rota – but is uncapped.
  • Overtime usually available
  • Basic hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday with Saturday morning rota (1 in 3 mornings paid at 1.5)

You’ll work with VW Commercials, diagnosing and repairing light commercial vehicles with continued development and training at industry-leading centres.
