Cordwallis Heathrow has a rare opening for an HGV Driver/Workshop Cleaner, ideally suited to a driver who prefers very local journeys. When not driving, you will carry out workshop cleaning duties as required. Cordwallis Group run four highly successful dealerships in the South East, working with several world renowned brands of commercial vehicles including VW, MAN Trucks, Isuzu and Mercedes Trucks.
Please be clear that this is not your typical driving role! The successful candidate will be doing MOT presentations, vehicle collections and deliveries, road tests and shunting vehicles in a busy yard. If you like getting home each evening, this is a role for you!
Successful candidates will hold a class 1 or 2 licence and have at least 12 months experience of HGV Driving, knowledge of tacho rules and driving hours. The successful candidate will work as part of a busy friendly team within this well established family business, willing to pitch in where needed to help colleagues and customers.
Working Hours: 8.00am to 5.00pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week. Overtime paid at 1.5 after basic hours worked.
