Due to our continuous success and growth we are looking for an HGV Claims & Invoice Processor to join our existing team based at Heathrow (TW14 8ND).
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- An understanding of vehicle warranty
- Experience of processing Manufacturer Warranty Claims
- An understanding of vehicle Repair and Maintenance
- Experience of Processing R&M Claims
Automotive experience is a must – HGV preferred but transferable skills from Car and LCV also acceptable. We are also keen to speak to Service Advisors who are looking to make a move into Claims Processing and Administration.
Applicants must be willing to learn to use and work from multiple software platforms on a daily basis. Candidates will need strong and accurate administration skills and attention to detail is essential. Previous warranty and invoicing processing would be a huge advantage, particularly if experienced in the world of automotive.
Please note this is a very different role to a Claims Processor for Insurance related claims and more bespoke than a general or office administrator role. Cordwallis Heathrow is a hive of activity and has a buzzy, lively and fun atmosphere. We are seeking a candidate who wants to join a great family business and be a name not a number (total of 140 staff in 4 locations), who enjoys being part of a team but can also work autonomously and use their initiative if required.
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday from 7am – 4pm with 30 mins unpaid break for lunch. Saturday working is not mandatory within this role however where an end of month falls on a weekend you may be required to work some additional hours. This is always discussed with your Line Manager in advance. Working at other Cordwallis locations may also be required within this role – as you will be processing claims for other locations. Again, this will be discussed with you.
Salary banding: In order to be clear and transparent we have put together a salary banding for this role dependant on experience you will already possess. For this role a ‘can do’ attitude is vital and if you have no experience but are willing to learn then don’t be put off. We will provide a clear training pathway at Induction on the various systems we have to work with.
- Nil/Trainee £26,500
- 1 – 3 Yrs in Service Advisor Role £28,000
- 1 – 3 Yrs in Claims Advisor/Warranty Role £30,000
- 3 years + in Service Advisor Role/Claims Processor Role (Commercial) £32,000+
Bonus plan: A bonus paid half yearly is available for this role. The total opportunity for Bonus is £3,000 – this is based on the achievement of sold hours against budget, first time claim submission and resubmission of any rejections and personal objectives as set by the Claims Administration Manager. KPIs are subject to change on an annual basis.
Timeline: Week commencing 10th August – Short Listing and invitations to Interview to be sent. Week commencing 17th August – Interviews commence.

You’ll work at Cordwallis for brands such as MAN, Mercedes Truck and Isuzu Truck leading manufacturers of heavy commercial vehicles. You’ll carry out daily processing of invoices and claims on the manufacturers platforms for work completed by our branches in line with company processes and manufacturer procedures. You’ll work alongside the accounts teams in ensuring that any invoice queries are resolved in a timely manner. Maintain and file any completed documentation.
