Skilled and flexible HGV Technician required for a varied role at our purpose built Bicester location. Let’s be clear – The ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) will continue for the next 25 years and beyond - it isn’t all Electric!
Basic Salary up to £44,000 - depending on your to date and your own abilities (Service Tech, Diagnostic Tech or Mastertech). Basic hours are 40 per week - Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (with 60 minute unpaid lunch). Weekends and outside basic hours paid at Overtime Rate x 1.5. Bank Holidays paid at Double Time. Late shift payment paid on lates week - £25 per night (£3,000 per annum) - late shift is currently being planned within the next few months. Additional efficiency bonus up to £9,000 per annum available on reaching target (paid monthly). Overalls, Uniform and PPE all supplied and updated.
Roadside Assistance element: On Call Rota (one week in four). Paid Standby Rates per £25 per night - that’s an additional £3,000 per annum. Hours worked outside your working week paid at 1.5 - once 40 hours worked. Bank Holidays on call paid at Double Time. Use of Company Vehicle for week on call. Roadside Training where applicable and needed.
You will be able to increase your pay as you gain more experience and develop your skills, attend training and learn more about our brands. Multi manufacturer training programmes provided to support your career progression - We want you to progress to Master Technician status.

You’ll work at Cordwallis Group with MAN, Mercedes & Isuzu Trucks some of the world’s leading manufacturers of heavy commercial vehicles. You’ll carry out roadside diagnosis and repairs for customers in distress as well as service, maintenance, and repairs on some of the most respected trucks in the industry and will enjoy continued development and training at our industry-leading training centres.

- Bus and coach experience an advantage
- IRTEC accreditation desirable but not essential as we have IRTEC courses available
