Background: Cordus Law is a specialist legal practice, assisting veterans and active-duty service members secure compensation for injuries suffered during service. We are seeking a Litigation Executive, ideally with experience in military and/or industrial disease claims, to join our growing team.
- Managing a caseload of military claims, corresponding with clients, insurers and other solicitors and liaising with Counsel and experts.
- Analysing evidence and setting case strategies encompassing both technical and commercial considerations and advising clients accordingly.
- Support and supervision of other fee earners and support staff where required.
- Maintaining high professional standards and compliance with company and regulatory (SRA) policies and procedures.
- Experience in military claims and/or industrial disease is desirable; IT literate with working knowledge of case management software, ideally Proclaim.
- Flexibility, as working outside normal office hours may occasionally be required.
