We are seeking an experienced Network Deployment Manager to lead the on-site installation and delivery of a hyperscale data centre network infrastructure project in London. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role requiring strong experience across both passive and active network systems.
You will work as part of the main contractor\'s delivery team, overseeing subcontractors and installation partners, ensuring the physical deployment of the network aligns with design specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
Responsibilities:
Lead on-site network installation activities across passive (structured cabling, fibre, containment) and active (network hardware) components
Be directly accountable for the successful delivery and execution of the network deployment
Coordinate and drive subcontractors and field engineers to ensure milestones are met
Ensure installations follow the approved low-level design (LLD) and meet client standards
Monitor and manage progress, escalating risks or delays where necessary
Provide detailed reporting, site documentation, and compliance oversight
Act as the delivery lead between client stakeholders, project teams, and technical contractors
Requirements:
Proven track record managing and delivering network installations in large-scale data centre environments
Deep understanding of structured cabling systems, patching, fibre optics, switch deployment, and related infrastructure
Experience working on behalf of main contractors or major subcontractors within the data centre sector
Ability to lead teams and ensure work is progressing on the ground, not just from a project admin perspective
Familiarity with Microsoft or other hyperscale standards is highly desirable
Strong site-based presence and ability to troubleshoot, coordinate, and lead delivery
