ResponsibilitiesSummary of the role:
- Understand the cardiovascular healthcare landscape and identify educational needs across target specialties (interventional cardiologists, interventional radiologists, angiologists, and vascular surgeons).
- Execute the ProfEd strategy locally in line with regional guidance.
- Plan and manage peer-to-peer education in the country based on Cordis' educational strategy.
- Coordinate faculty, center of references, participants, logistics, and on-site execution.
- Ensure full compliance and complete, audit-ready documentation.
- Assess country training needs to educate HCPs and improve patient outcomes.
- Build a country ProfEd calendar aligned to educational priorities.
- Prepare activity briefs, agenda, objectives, and expected clinical outcomes for each event.
- Manage the local ProfEd budget within approved limits and reconcile on time.
- Map and maintain a list of key opinion leaders (KOLs), speakers, and reference centers by specialty.
- Propose faculty and CoEs per activity.
- Adapt approved regional content for local implementation and ensure alignment of didactic materials with the faculty.
- Coordinate contracts, grants, and fee-for-service of the consultants in alignment with the line manager and in compliance with country-specific regulations.
- Run end-to-end logistics for courses, workshops, proctorships, and conference activities (symposium, lectures, learning centres, etc.).
- Provide on-site educational support in OR/cath lab, training centers, and congress venues.
- Ensure HCP selection follows approved criteria and documented rationale.
- Implement post-event follow-up: attendance, competency checklists, feedback, and NPS.
- Track clinical and operational outcomes agreed for each activity; report variances.
- Close events financially: invoices, T&E, transparency reports, and educational grant reconciliations.
- Drive clear processes with Sales, Marketing, International ProfEd team, Medical Affairs, Compliance, and Legal.
- Align with regional ProfEd on priorities, content, metrics, and vendor standards.
- Maintain relationships with national scientific societies and congress organisers.
- Operate within MedTech Europe, local codes, GDPR, and Cordis policies.
- Keep complete, audit-ready files in designated systems for all ProfEd activities.
- Monitor risks and escape issues promptly.
- Use approved tools for planning, approvals, contracting, logistics, and reporting.
- Deliver monthly dashboards: activity status, HCPs trained, spend vs. plan, and outcomes.
- Prepare concise decks for internal and external meetings on time.
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, nursing, biomedical engineering, or related.
- Experience in medical device education, clinical support, or healthcare event delivery.
- Experience working in the interventional cardiology or vascular fields is a must.
- Skilled in project management, vendor coordination, and maintaining thorough documentation.
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel extensively within the UK and Ireland.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, other Microsoft Office tools and hands-on experience with event management software (e.g., Cvent or similar platforms).
