The Talent & Performance Partner plays a vital role in this ambition. This is a hands‐on partnering role for someone who enjoys working closely with leaders to embed consistent, values‐led approaches to performance, talent and leadership development. Your contribution will be seen through clearer performance expectations, stronger leadership capability, improved talent pipeline visibility and a positive, high‐performing colleague experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with leaders, HRBPs and L&D colleagues to support performance, values and talent frameworks
  • Supporting and coordinating talent‐review and succession‑planning processes
  • Helping leaders apply consistent, evidence‑based approaches to assessing performance, potential and behaviours
  • Delivering and supporting leadership, management and performance‑focused sessions and interventions
  • Embedding NHG’s values into performance conversations and leadership development
  • Using talent, performance and workforce insights to highlight strengths, gaps, risks and opportunities
  • Gathering feedback and insight to continuously improve talent and performance activity
  • Working closely with the wider People Development team to ensure a joined‑up, values‑led approach

You’ll help ensure talent, leadership and performance activity is practical, consistent and clearly aligned to organisational priorities.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting or delivering talent, performance or leadership development activity, ideally in a complex organisation
  • Understanding of performance frameworks, values‑based behaviours and talent‑review processes
  • Experience working in partnership with leaders and HR teams to support consistent people processes
  • Ability to use talent, performance or workforce insights to inform decisions and development planning
  • Confident facilitation and communication skills
  • Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills
  • An organized, proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Commitment to inclusive practice, positive colleague experience and NHG’s values
  • CIPD or equivalent experience is desirable but not essential (or willingness to work towards one).
