You will play a key role in supporting the full recruitment lifecycle from application to offer for legal vacancies across the firm alongside assisting with key early talent activities and a range of ongoing projects. This role is full of variety and offers an excellent learning opportunity for someone interested in developing their career in recruitment or early talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting with all administration across the recruitment lifecycle from business case to offer for legal vacancies across the firm.
  • Administration of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for legal vacancies, including publishing job adverts, updating candidate status and closing vacancies.
  • Conduct initial screening calls with candidates where required.
  • Organise interviews, online assessments and related logistics.
  • Maintain excellent professional communication with candidates, recruitment agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and issue contracts of employment for legal vacancies and agency terms.
  • Collaborate with the HR generalist team to ensure a smooth transition from offer to onboarding for new starters.
  • Work with the Recruitment Coordinator to ensure trackers and systems are kept up-to-date and GDPR compliant.
  • Ad hoc support for business services and business support services recruitment as required.
  • Provide administrative support in the lead-up and on the day for key annual Early Talent activities, including away days, assessment centres, insight evenings and the summer vacation scheme - with provision of in person support as needed (may require some travel).
  • Screening of trainee and apprentice applications (as required) and support with the administration of applicant tracking systems.
  • Support end-to-end administration for law fair and other event attendance, including collating event details, confirming participation, managing bookings, invoicing and coordinating the delivery of equipment to each location as required.
  • Assist with the preparation and logistics of Apprentice and Trainee inductions.
  • Collate and prepare payroll information for summer vacation scheme attendees.
  • Support with the preparation of annual external marketing profile updates.
  • Support the Early Talent Advisor with maintaining our Instagram page.
  • Manage shared team inboxes, responding to queries or directing messages to the appropriate team member.
  • Collate and/or process invoices, expenses and coordinate travel bookings.
  • Maintain thorough and compliant filing in the document management system (DMS) in accordance with GDPR and firm policies.
  • Keep online team trackers up-to-date, ensuring accuracy and escalating any queries or issues to other team members.
  • Ad hoc reporting on key recruitment and early talent metrics.
  • Administrative support to the wider team on projects, as required.

The ideal candidate will have had some previous administrative and/or customer-facing experience in a fast-paced, professional environment, alongside excellent communication and time management skills.
