The Early Career Talent Acquisition team is looking for an Associate level recruiter to help drive and deliver the Early Careers recruitment strategy, building relationships with internal clients and external candidates and providers, serving as a talent scout for the firm. Our objective is to source and deliver exceptional entry-level talent to the firm across a broad spectrum of roles across UK, Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). This is accomplished through engagement initiatives, marketing campaigns, utilizing technology to connect with candidates, curating talent pools, and developing candidate screening and selection methods to cast a wide net for talent and hire the most suitable diverse talent.
Our recruiters are part of a small and close-knit team reporting to the Head of EMEA Early Careers based in Edinburgh, working in collaboration with the broader global Campus function. The recruiters work with senior leaders in the business, HR business partners, and Talent Management colleagues with responsibility for the end-to-end talent attraction and recruitment process for Technology hiring. The recruiters will also contribute to the planning and delivery of insight events and the Summer Internship, Quant Masters, and Apprenticeship Programmes.
Responsibilities:- Driving the end-to-end technology recruiting process
- Understanding the needs of the business to design and execute a recruiting process to attract and assess a strong pipeline of diverse candidates
- Developing strong relationships with key business stakeholders, the global campus team and other HR colleagues
- Design and execution of in-house and external events and programmes across the region
- Ownership of data management and reporting for relevant business areas
The successful candidates will be creative, flexible and solutions oriented, a great team player with the ability to drive projects to completion and build relationships.
About you:- Demonstrable passion for Early Careers recruiting with experience in a fast-paced Early Careers recruitment function
- Previous experience hiring volume Technology roles
- Good understanding of the Early Careers talent market in the UK and across the EMEA Region
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to travel if required, to EMEA destinations
- Experience in a client-facing role with strong cross team and firm relationship building skills, capable of adapting style of communication to the audience
- Demonstrated problem solver with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Working independently, while also acting collaboratively as a great team member in our global group
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Ability to deliver change initiatives with previous experience of project delivery
- Experience working in a global environment, necessitating flexible hours at times especially in peak season
