About Corby Technical School and the Role
We are proud of our strong culture, high expectations and commitment to ensuring every young person leaves us ready to succeed in further education, employment and life. At CTS, we are passionate about developing the most employable young people in Corby through excellent education, meaningful opportunities and a genuine belief that every student can achieve extraordinary things.
We are seeking an outstanding, values-led leader with a passion for educational excellence. While this role sits within our Quality of Education team, we deliberately have flexibility around the exact responsibilities. Whether you are at your strongest leading curriculum and teaching, driving staff development, and developing the curriculum, or using data and assessment to secure exceptional outcomes, we are open-minded about the precise portfolio. Our priority is finding the right leader. We will therefore work with the successful candidate to build a portfolio that plays to their strengths while complementing the skills and experience of the wider senior leadership team. Working closely with colleagues across the school, you will inspire and develop staff, champion high standards, and help create the conditions in which both teachers and students can thrive and achieve their very best.
CTS is a fast-paced and forward-thinking school that embraces change when we believe it will make a genuine difference to students and staff. We value innovation, professional curiosity and leaders who are willing to challenge convention, think creatively and help shape the next stage of our journey. We strongly encourage prospective applicants to visit the school and experience first-hand the culture, ambition and opportunities that make CTS such a rewarding place to work.
