We are looking for a DT Technician to provide support for the Design and Technology Department. The ideal candidate will be competent in the set-up, use and maintenance of workshop equipment and machinery, new technologies such as laser cutting and 3D printing and art processes. It will involve preparing resources and equipment for lessons: hard materials: woods, metals and plastics, as well as maintaining machinery and ordering supplies. Previous experience of working in an educational environment is advantageous because you will need to be able to support students and staff in the workshops. Some knowledge would be advantageous but full training will be given.

Technicians are essential in preparing resources, maintaining equipment, and ensuring health and safety standards are met. By supporting experiments, projects, and creative design work, you will help create an engaging and safe environment where students can thrive.
