A Specialist College for Communication and Interaction is seeking a Relief Caretaker required immediately (subject to the relevant checks). This position is on a Zero Hour Contract with various hours as needed, offering £17.52 per hour (paid holidays inclusive).

Routes4Life works in collaboration with Corbets Tey School to provide education and training for young people with learning disabilities aged 19-25 to enable them to transition successfully into their adult lives. We would like to recruit a relief caretaker to work as needed at our new premises at The Walk, Hornchurch, RM11 3TL.

This post will suit a practical, helpful handy person who would like to use their skills within flexible working arrangements. You would be called upon when needed to deal with various issues such as:

  • Site-related emergency maintenance and repairs
  • Unlocking and securing the premises on occasion
  • Liaising with and supervising contractors on site

This could be during term time or during holiday periods. If you live locally and are a dependable and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe and clean environment, we’d love to hear from you.
