About the role
As a Support Worker, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care and practical support to residents, enabling them to live as independently as possible while promoting choice, dignity and wellbeing.
Working as part of a dedicated house team, you'll support residents with their daily routines, personal care, health appointments, activities and communication, while also helping to create a warm and welcoming home through cooking, cleaning and other household tasks.
No two days are the same, making this a rewarding role for someone who enjoys variety and making a positive impact.
Key responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support tailored to each resident's individual needs.
- Support with personal care, daily living activities and promoting independence.
- Administer medication in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Support residents to attend healthcare appointments, workshops and community activities.
- Contribute to care planning and maintain accurate records.
- Promote residents' rights, choices and wellbeing.
- Prepare meals and carry out domestic duties including cleaning and laundry.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide outstanding care.
- Maintain high standards in line with Health & Social Care Standards, SSSC Codes of Practice and Corbenic policies.
- Participate in training, supervision and ongoing professional development.
- Take part in sleepovers and a rota that includes evenings and weekends.
About you

Desirable
- Experience working in health or social care.
- SVQ in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Relevant care training.
- Current SSSC registration
