Product Control - Quantitative Trading Firm - London

A multi-asset class quantitative investment group with 80 employees across New York, Chicago, California and London is looking for a motivated professional to join their Finance team in London.

The successful applicant will support month-end close and management accounts for the firm's trading entities. You’ll also work on process improvements and development projects, gaining broad exposure across the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Produce and validate daily trading P&Ls and NAVs
  • Price portfolios and capture trading fees
  • Support month-end close, tax analysis, audits, and management accounts
  • Maintain accruals and prepayment schedules
  • Drive improvements in processes and controls

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of product control experience within a trading environment
  • Understanding and interest of core liquid products and how they are traded – cash equities, equity swaps, FX (spot, forwards), listed equity options, bonds, futures, ETFs, ADRs
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
