About the role

We are looking for a Senior Outreach Worker post in South Westminster locality of Westminster to oversee direct case work with families, to support particularly those families identified as being in the greatest need. You will deliver family support through home visits and one to one meetings. You will be responsible for line managing a small team of Outreach Workers and volunteers, including recruitment, supervisions/appraisals and day to day support of the team. You will have experience of community and outreach work with diverse communities and of using a wide range of techniques to engage with isolated individuals and communities. You will have experience of line management of staff and volunteers. We are also looking for someone with good communication skills, both oral and written. You will have good networking skills and the ability to produce materials in a large range of formats for both families and professionals.

The salary for 17.5 hours per week is £15,710.35 per annum.
