About the role
The Senior Information and Library Officer post is designed to increase our focus on developing and delivering high-quality library and information services to CoramBAAF colleagues, members and visitors. The role is ideal for someone who wants to build on their existing knowledge, skills and experience in a small, friendly and busy team, and who would relish being part of an evolving service and taking on responsibility for supervising volunteers. The post holder will join CoramBAAF at an exciting time as we move forward with our Library Management System replacement project and plans to develop our specialist library, which is now located in a newly renovated space as part of the Institute for Children on the Coram campus.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working and proactive information professional to join our small but dedicated Information Team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with strong organisational and communication skills and a desire to provide high quality services to colleagues and members. We envisage this as either a 4.5 day per week or 9 days per fortnight role, but are open to considering additional flexibility within the constraints of the role.

Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant experience in library and information services, including volunteer supervision.
- Experience with Library Management System implementation or replacement projects.
- Strong organisational, communication, and customer service skills.
