Senior and Hands‑on Product Managers for Infrastructure Monitoring in London — a foundational platform role where you'd own the capabilities that both our Observability and Security product lines build on top of, working closely with design, engineering, and go‑to‑market teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, including understanding customer and user needs, translating and communicating those needs crisply through a prioritized roadmap, and partnering with design and engineering teams to deliver a compelling product experience.
- Actively maintain a view of how the market, competition, and technologies are evolving, and factor it, as well as feedback from internal groups and customers, into the product strategy.
- Collaborate with product marketing, support, and the sales team to drive go-to-market efforts and solve for business limiters within your control and pursue key business accelerants.
Requirements
- 10+ years and 5+ years in Product management. or technical product management roles.
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent (MBA a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize requirements across conflicting dimensions and to be clear on the minimum capabilities that matter.
- Able to independently identify significant opportunities in an ambiguous area and build consensus around roadmaps.
- A passion for customer journey, user experience, usability, and a knack for simplicity; willing and able to dive deep into technical requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lead, collaborate and influence via persuasion, patience, and energy.
- Domain awareness and familiarity with Kubernetes technology and Cloud provider services including but not limited to compute, storage, database (SQL and no SQL), serverless, message queues, distributed cache, distributed databases.
- Familiar with Cloud Provider platforms and services.
Comfortable with deploying simple examples for demonstration of product capabilities and/or in support of marketing activities.
- Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills. Ability to identify patterns and synthesize disparate data into a coherent whole.
- Experience with developing software, understanding engineering tradeoffs, and an intuition for the needs of the developers and operators who use our products.
- Willing to do whatever it takes to get quality products and features to market on time.
- Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role (e. g. Technical Consultant, Solution Architect, Pre-sales Consultant, Sales Engineering, Technical Marketing).
- Background in enterprise Saa S; bonus if those were infrastructure monitoring or analytics related.
- Expertise in Kubernetes and Cloud technologies; Otel familiarity is a plus.
- Familiarity with streaming data architectures - specifically metrics.
- Participation in all stages of the software development lifecycle, experience with Agile software methodologies.
