We specialize in comprehensive monitoring of logs, metrics, traces, and security events with features such as APM, RUM, SIEM, Kubernetes monitoring, and more, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing observability spending by up to 70%.
We are seeking a Product Manager to drive our product vision for the Alerting and Incident management tooling across our platform and provide the robust foundation for Observability and Security teams to build on. Our Alerting engine offers real-time detection and control over alert timings for Observability and Security. It automatically initiates actions, from case interactions to third-party integrations, ensuring smooth operations. Success in this role requires experience with Observability or Security products and the ability to deliver platform capabilities that can be leveraged across both Internal Products and Customer-facing User experience.
Responsibilities- Define the vision and roadmap for alerting and incident management.
- Collaborate with the Observability and Security teams to discover, align, and prioritize their needs, understand use cases and timing requirements, and plan phased approaches.
- Deep dive into Metrics, Logging, and Tracing and the Coralogix stack as an alerting and case management platform PM to enhance real-time monitoring and change detection.
- Interface with customers and the community to gather feedback and usage information to develop product insights.
- Capture market trends and competitive data to inform product direction and provide insights for sales enablement and engineering awareness.
- Facilitate and participate in design thinking sessions, brainstorm concepts, test hypotheses, and create visual examples with wireframes.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to define and manage platform components and understand platform architecture to drive key initiatives.
- As the Product Manager for the Alerting platform, you will be responsible for the service indicators of the Alerting Product, which are uptime, performance, cost, and adoption.
- 2 years of experience working on Observability or Security products.
- 5 years of product management experience in data products.
- Excellent ability to distill complex concepts into clear wireframes and requirements with a focus on user experience.
- End-to-end thinking on all aspects of a use case, clearly defining customer problems and benefits.
- Proven experience working with large engineering teams and diverse stakeholders on complex UX problems, with the ability to articulate the “why” both internally and externally.
- Technical proficiency with a passion for creating scalable services that enable our community and internal developers to query, render, and take actions on data in Elasticsearch.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort working in a highly cross-functional role with a distributed, global team.
