About Us

We are a busy, family-friendly bar and restaurant situated in the heart of Coral Island, known for great food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere for all ages. We are looking for a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead from the front and drive the continued success of our venue.

The Role

This is a hands-on position. As General Manager, you will be at the heart of daily operations—leading the team, which includes three front of house managers, a supervisor, and two back of house senior chefs and their relevant teams, engaging with customers, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. You will set the tone on the floor, maintain exacting standards of food and beverage products, and create a positive environment for both staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the bar and restaurant.
  • Manage and liaise with the head chef and kitchen on a daily basis.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team across front and back of house.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and manage guest feedback.
  • Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Drive sales, control costs, and meet financial targets.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor during service.

About You

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or senior manager in hospitality.
  • A natural leader who thrives in a hands-on role.
  • Strong knowledge of bar, restaurant, and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Commercially aware with a track record of driving performance.
