A private family is seeking an experienced and professional Land-based Stewardess to oversee the management of their two luxurious penthouses in Marylebone, London. The properties consist of two apartments: a three-bedroom, three-bathroom penthouse and a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment located on the same floor of a serviced apartment block. The family includes two adult children, one of whom resides permanently in the apartments and works in London. The Principals spend several months each year in the apartments and travel abroad the rest of the time. This position offers a wonderful opportunity for an experienced professional to work in a luxurious setting for a kind and welcoming family.

After a long tenure with the current team, the family is now looking for a new Stewardess to maintain the apartments and assist with their daily needs.

Start Date: ASAP.

Responsibilities of the Land-based Stewardess include:

  • Thorough upkeep of both apartments to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Full laundry management including washing, ironing, folding, and organizing clothing with great attention to detail.
  • Packing and unpacking for the family, ensuring that all clothing is organized and ready for their travels.
  • Preparing light, simple lunches for the family, especially when the Principals are in residence.
  • Expert care for fine fabrics and furnishings, ensuring they are cleaned and maintained properly.
  • Providing general support in the smooth operation of the household, handling any ad-hoc tasks as needed.
  • Reporting and overseeing maintenance needs, liaising with contractors, and supervising maintenance tasks as required.
  • Grocery shopping and running errands, ensuring the household is fully stocked, including laundry and cleaning supplies.

Candidates must be/have:

  • A genuine passion for maintaining the highest standards in housekeeping and an exceptional eye for detail.
  • Proven experience in luxury households, preferably with UHNW/HNW families.
  • Experience working on yachts would be highly desirable.
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet the family's needs, including occasional longer shifts when required.
  • High levels of discretion and professionalism when interacting with family members and guests.
  • A team player who can collaborate effectively with other household staff and is proactive in anticipating needs.

Accommodation: This is a live-out position, so no accommodation is provided.

Hours: The hours will be daily shifts, either 10:00-18:00 or 12:00-20:00, rotating weekly with another stewardess. The position will include alternate weekends when the Principals are in residence, and Monday to Friday when the Principals are abroad. Flexibility is required to accommodate the Principals' schedule.

Location: Marylebone, W1, London.

Salary: £50,000 per annum.
