This is an exciting opportunity to be a Rheumatology Consultant within an integrated community MSK, pain, & rheumatology service based in Mid & South Essex! Cora Health has been delivering community MSK, pain & rheumatology services in South West Essex since 2015. Following a recent procurement process, Cora Health's service delivery will be expanded across Mid & South Essex from April 1st, 2026. This is an opportunity to join an established multidisciplinary team during an exciting phase of growth.
Services will be delivered from a range of healthcare, wellness and leisure centre venues across Mid & South Essex. There will be opportunities to work a varied timetable from locations that are locally accessible to colleagues and the communities we serve.
Main duties of the job
- Conducting thorough patient assessments and medical histories.
- Diagnosing and managing conditions such as arthritis, lupus, gout, and other autoimmune diseases.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
- Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, including blood tests and imaging studies.
- Educating patients and their families about disease management and treatment options.
- Participating in clinical research and staying updated with the latest advancements in rheumatology.
- Providing mentorship and training to junior medical staff and students.

Person Specification
Qualifications: Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialisation in Rheumatology. Board certification in Rheumatology.
