The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, well organised and motivated podiatrist to join our team. You will be responsible for assessment and planning of individual patient care, working autonomously and as part of the wider team, so excellent communication skills and team working are essential. You must demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of current evidence-based practice and be able to apply this appropriately clinically. A drive to improve your skills and expand your expertise is desirable.
We deliver patient care in a variety of clinical and community settings with a caseload focusing on the medically at risk and/or those with a high podiatric need. You will be involved in nail surgery sessions, high risk clinics and have the opportunity to rotate through the foot protection team and musculoskeletal clinics. You will work alongside experienced podiatrists and be encouraged in your professional development. We are committed to CPD and promoting evidence-based practice and a high standard of care throughout the service. We offer support through regular 1:1 meetings, clinical supervision, in-house CPD, and ongoing training to support the development of our staff.
Main duties of the job:
- Work as an integral member of the podiatry team to deliver quality programs of podiatric care to patients who have an assessed need.
- Provide treatment at a variety of sites including a patient's home, clinics, hospitals & elsewhere often working in isolation.
- Work as part of a MDT and act as a source of advice to patients, carers, GPs & other Health Care Professionals.
- Be responsible for the day to day operational management of a specific clinic location, working as a lone practitioner in some cases.
