Provide clinical leadership to colleagues working within the services to ensure safe and effective delivery of clinical interventions in line with professional standards and governance requirements (incidents, complaints, risk, audit, medicines management, infection control, safeguarding) with associated reporting.
Contribute to Academy delivery by being involved with the faculty, providing education to colleagues across Cora, alongside assuring quality of locally delivered education sessions.
Ensure that the multi‑professional workforce is supported to thrive and develop in line with relevant policy and guidance e.g., recruitment, induction, supervision, performance appraisal, capability assessments, wellbeing.
Develop and foster productive relationships with local clinical stakeholders including patient groups, community groups, PCNs, Consultants, GPs, and other clinically important contacts both internal and external to Cora, inclusive of reducing health inequalities.
Ensure continuous improvement of clinical quality (outcomes, experience, safety) within services through a focus on pathway optimisation and responsible use of available resources (e.g., clinical capacity).
Personally deliver high quality clinical care to patients and lead by example meeting the clinical and commercial needs of the services.
Main duties of the job
The role of Clinical Delivery Lead is fundamentally about providing leadership regarding clinical delivery across services within an allocated geographic area. This is in addition to the provision of high‑quality care within personal clinical caseload. To achieve this, the Clinical Delivery Lead will need to demonstrate a sound understanding of the clinical competencies required of the clinicians within the service as well as an ability to think, lead and effectively implement frameworks and services to meet the evolving requirements of the service(s) and patients. They will need to be highly self‑motivated, achievement orientated and be required to provide inspirational clinical leadership. From a clinical perspective the Clinical Delivery Lead will be an AHP/Nurse educated to at least Master's level (or equivalent) in their field of specialty and be able to provide a highly specialised source of expertise, with clear evidence of working at L7 across Clinical Practice, Leadership and Management, Education, Research and Audit as outlined in the HEE Advanced Clinical Practice Framework.

- MSK, Pain and rheumatology care delivery experience.
