Work closely with stakeholders across the business to gather, analyse and document business requirements. Investigate business challenges and identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working. Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, epics and other project documentation. Support the delivery of technology and business change initiatives using Agile methodologies and Scrum practices. Facilitate workshops, meetings and training sessions to engage stakeholders and drive successful project outcomes. Analyse business processes and data to recommend innovative, value-adding solutions that improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with project teams, third-party technology suppliers and IM&T colleagues to ensure successful solution design and implementation. Produce high-quality documentation and ensure project deliverables meet agreed standards for quality, scope and business value. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by applying business analysis techniques, process improvement methodologies and best practice.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Business Analyst to join our Information Management & Technology (IM&T) team. Reporting to the Design & Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in driving business improvement by analysing processes, identifying opportunities, and translating business needs into effective technology solutions. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation and third-party suppliers, you will bridge the gap between business and IT, ensuring projects deliver meaningful outcomes that support organisational growth and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • A recognised Business Analysis qualification (such as BCS) or equivalent

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst
