Previous experience within the pain management pathway with tangible results and commitment to providing excellent, personalised care. A deep understanding of the impact of Musculoskeletal pain in the wider community and how collaborative working across the local system enables prevention and addresses health inequalities. Current valid registration with your relevant professional body or equivalent regulator (HCPC, GOsC, SST or BASraT). Outstanding values that underpin clinical expertise and people management. Proven track record of influencing patients, people, commissioners, and pathways. Understand, influence and drive quality of audits and the integration of EBP. Educational acuity in developing and providing specialist teaching in Musculoskeletal practice. Strong desire and drive to deliver innovation and lead on change. Main duties of the job: We are pleased to be recruiting for the position of Clinical Lead for our Shropshire Pain service. You will provide leadership in pain rehabilitation in line with national developments (individual, group and virtual) within the service and have clear accountabilities and responsibilities to support effective and efficient delivery of service delivery. You will work closely with the other members of the senior leadership team within the service as well as the regional/national clinical and operational leadership team. You will demonstrate a sound understanding of the clinical competencies required of the clinical staff within the pain management pathway as well as an ability to lead and effectively implement frameworks and services to meet the evolving requirements of the service and patients. You will be proactive, highly self-motivated and achievement orientated. You will be resilient in terms of remaining focused in picking up challenges of an ever-changing NHS landscape. This is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to develop their leadership skills, and you will be supported by the regional clinical and operational teams, as well as within a peer network of existing Clinical Leads.
