About the Roles:
- Supporting a vibrant and friendly young adult: A young adult with a moderate learning disability, epilepsy, and ADHD is seeking compassionate support. You will play a vital role in providing patient, understanding support, encouraging her independence, and promoting emotional regulation while fostering her personal growth.
- Supporting a kind-hearted individual: An individual with autism and paranoid schizophrenia is looking for a proactive support team. Your role will be to offer consistent reassurance and create a sense of security while helping him engage with the community and manage his mental health.
- Supporting a vibrant and determined individual: A young woman with a mild learning disability and autism seeks a supportive team member. You will help her build trust, develop emotional regulation skills, and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
- Supporting a resilient and creative individual: This opportunity involves working with a young woman with moderate learning disabilities and mental health needs. Your role will focus on empowering her to manage her emotional stability and participate in structured activities.
- Supporting a driven and ambitious young adult: Join our team to support a young adult with a mild learning disability, ADHD, and a personality disorder. Your role will involve helping her with daily routines, emotional regulation, and supporting her ambitions.
Requirements:
- Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude.
- A commitment to person-centered care.
- Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.
- Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder knowledge.
- PROACT SCIPr-UK training.
- Experience with epilepsy and eating/swallowing difficulties.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, along with basic IT and numerical ability.
- A full UK driving licence is preferred.
What we can offer:
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.75 (includes the South Tyneside hourly pay rate allowance).
- Expected hours: 16 – 37 per week.
- Schedule: day shift, night shift, Monday to Friday, weekend availability.
