About the Role: At Ferrero, we are committed to delivering growth through insight, innovation, and strong customer partnerships. As a Category Development Executive, you will play a key role in driving category performance and supporting the delivery of our Winning in Market strategy. Working closely with Trade Marketing, including Revenue Growth Management, Customer Category Development and Shopper Marketing, you will take ownership of key projects and contribute to the development of category strategies. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing teams, using data and insight to identify opportunities, influence decisions, and optimise category growth across channels.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to build your commercial capability within a fast-paced FMCG environment, with exposure to both internal stakeholders and external retail partners.

Main Responsibilities:
  • You will support the development and execution of category strategies aligned to business objectives, bringing together market trends, shopper behaviour, and competitive insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Working closely with Trade Marketing, Sales, and Marketing teams, you will help translate strategy into actionable plans that drive performance across key customers and channels.
  • A core part of your role will involve analysing data from multiple sources, including Nielsen, Circana, and internal systems, to generate actionable insights.
  • You will track category performance, identify risks and opportunities, and present clear recommendations to stakeholders, supporting data-driven decision making across the business.
  • You will collaborate with Customer Category Development and key retail partners to support category growth initiatives, ensuring customer and shopper insights are embedded into planning.
  • This includes contributing to category presentations and helping influence in-store execution, ranging, and promotional strategies.
  • In addition, you will support the development of the “picture of success” across channels, including assortment, merchandising, and ranging strategies.
  • You will work closely with Revenue Growth Management to ensure alignment between pricing, promotions, and overall category plans, supporting the delivery of sustainable growth.

  • You bring strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into clear, actionable insights.
  • You are confident working cross-functionally, building relationships with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Finance, and are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift.
  • Your communication and influencing skills allow you to present insights clearly and contribute to decision making.
  • You demonstrate strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering to deadlines.
