Following continued successful growth, we are seeking to recruit a 3D CAD Operator who will work for Tom Howley based in our Trafford Park Offices in Manchester.

The Role:

  • You will be responsible for finalising manufacturing drawings, based on details supplied by surveyors.
  • Modelling of special parts and production of drawings for suppliers.
  • Modelling and assembly of pre-manufacturing drawings for client approval.
  • Designing Lead Light glass panels, based on a set range.
  • Final sign off of all documents pre-manufacture.
  • Working with both sales and survey divisions.

A Successful Applicant Will:

  • Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of 3D CAD software (Solidworks will be advantageous).
  • Have a good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
  • Have a good level of IT literacy.
  • Understand basic joinery.
  • Have a keen eye for details and an understanding of traditional design.
  • Be able to use initiative and problem solve.
  • Work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Be able to communicate with other departments within the business confidently.
