Following continued successful growth, we are seeking to recruit a 3D CAD Operator who will work for Tom Howley based in our Trafford Park Offices in Manchester.
The Role:
- You will be responsible for finalising manufacturing drawings, based on details supplied by surveyors.
- Modelling of special parts and production of drawings for suppliers.
- Modelling and assembly of pre-manufacturing drawings for client approval.
- Designing Lead Light glass panels, based on a set range.
- Final sign off of all documents pre-manufacture.
- Working with both sales and survey divisions.
A Successful Applicant Will:
- Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of 3D CAD software (Solidworks will be advantageous).
- Have a good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
- Have a good level of IT literacy.
- Understand basic joinery.
- Have a keen eye for details and an understanding of traditional design.
- Be able to use initiative and problem solve.
- Work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Be able to communicate with other departments within the business confidently.
