We are a specialist valuation practice combining over a century of market expertise with the agility of a technology-driven organisation.

We provide direct client exposure, responsibility for whole instructions, and an environment that rewards initiative, commercial thinking, and business generation alongside technical excellence. Unlike traditional firms, we are committed to technical innovation. Our team operates with industry-leading software and digital workflows, underpinned by the latest AI technologies. This enables us to deliver faster, sharper insight, streamline reporting, enhance audit trails and arm our valuers with instant, data-driven evidence — all while maintaining Red Book compliance.

We are seeking a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) to join our Valuation team, specialising in loan security valuations for UK lenders. You will provide Red Book–compliant valuation advice across a spectrum of commercial, residential, healthcare and mixed-use assets, including office, retail, industrial, and specialist trading concerns. The successful candidate will support secured lending decisions for banks, building societies and alternative lenders.

About the Role

  • Deliver loan security valuations for new lending, refinances, and periodic reviews — leveraging advanced data platforms and AI analysis
  • Manage instructions from receipt to issue, including inspections, analysis, valuation modelling, and digital reporting
  • Prepare concise, lender-focused valuation reports with clear assumptions, sensitivities, and risk commentary
  • Value a range of asset types: offices, industrial/logistics, retail, residential, mixed-use, development, healthcare assets and trading valuations
  • Ensure compliance with RICS Red Book, lender instructions, and internal QA procedures with AI QA support included
  • Maintain robust audit trails optimised for lender panel review
  • Communicate professionally with lender clients, borrowers, solicitors, and managing agents
  • Contribute to business development through your own networks, repeat instructions and cross-referrals, with support from senior colleagues and digital lead tracking

Qualifications and Requirements

  • MRICS (Chartered Surveyor) and Registered Valuer
  • Ideally a minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience (PQE), although applications from candidates with less will be considered
  • Proven experience in loan security valuations
  • Strong understanding of secured lending risk and credit-driven reporting
  • Excellent report writing, organisation, and time management skills
  • Enthusiasm for new technology
  • Keen interest in business development and maintaining client relationships
  • Full UK driving licence

Benefits and Rewards

  • Private pension scheme with employer contributions
  • Comprehensive private healthcare
  • Excellent, performance-linked bonus package
  • Company card for business expenses
  • Full reimbursement of all fuel expenses and mileage
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements and latest technology tools
  • Direct support from in-house and AI-enabled assistants (enabling you to focus on client work rather than admin)
