Role Description
The Bartender role at Coppice Lifestyle is a full-time, on-site position based in Middleton. The Bartender prepares and serves a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following recipes and responsible service guidelines, while maintaining a clean, organized bar area. Day-to-day tasks include greeting guests, taking orders, making recommendations, processing payments, and ensuring an efficient, friendly service experience. The Bartender restocks supplies, monitors inventory levels, and collaborates with kitchen and floor staff to support smooth operations during service. This role also involves adhering to health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and contributing to a positive, inclusive atmosphere for guests and team members.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Candidates should possess bartending and food & beverage skills, including drink preparation, product knowledge, and adherence to responsible serving practices.
- Candidates should possess cash handling skills and basic numeracy to manage payments accurately and efficiently.
- Relevant experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of local licensing laws, health and safety standards, and alcohol service regulations is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and handle a fast-paced environment.
